We have a few rules around here. They're not complicated, but they're non-negotiable.
No Crap. Ever.
E.U. STANDARDS. You will be hard pressed to find toxins, parabens, artificial dyes, phthalates or cheap fillers in our hair and skincare. We don't use formaldehyde-releasing cosmetic preservatives that have been banned in other countries. We don't use titanium dioxide to make things look "whiter." If an ingredient doesn't serve a real, beneficial purpose for your skin or hair, it doesn't get in the door. Period.
Science, Not Hype.
"Natural" isn't a marketing buzzword for us—it's the starting point. We take the best stuff from nature and make it better with science. With a background in dermatology and chemistry, we geek out on the details. We use advanced methods like broken cell technology to infuse raw materials for maximum potency. We love eco-cert preservatives. We create products that are safe and effective, for all skintypes.
Made Here. On Purpose.
We intend to bring cosmeceutical manufacturing back to the United States and we partner with local small and family-owned businesses that share our "do no harm and take no shit" mindset. Our care-free fragrance oils are manufactured by a family-owned company, AFI in Georgia and our label printing is done 12 miles down the road by Matt at Kutztown Printing. Supporting our own communities and economy isn't a trend; it's just the right way to do business. Integrity and saying what we mean and meaning what we say is how business should be done.
Brutal Honesty.
We're very direct people. We don't beat around the bush, apply any sugar coating and we don't believe in BS. We'll tell you exactly what's in everything we make and why it's there. No smoke and mirrors. No ridiculous claims. Just honest products from honest people.
Our goal isn't just to sell soap. It's to build a company you can actually trust.
