Our Story
I'm a Mom, a Maker, and I'm Done with the Crap
My name is Jennifer Witmyer, and I started this company because I was doom-scrolling.
Seriously. I saw a soap online and checked the ingredients. Titanium dioxide... to make it white. That's insane. Then I looked at my shampoo: formaldehyde-releasing preservatives. I looked at bubble baths, sugar scrubs... it was everywhere.
This isn't just a business for me; it's personal. I grew up in rural Pennsylvania where we did things naturally because we had to. We grew our own food. We didn't rely on a corner store full of chemical-laden products. That mindset stuck with me.
I've always been scientifically minded. I went to school in California to study science with the goal of becoming a dermatologist. Life, a mortgage, and eventually five kids in seven years put that specific dream on hold, but the passion never went away. I know how skin works. I know what it needs and, more importantly, what it doesn't need.
The Turning Point
This mission got even clearer after a battle with thyroid cancer. When your body starts to fail you, you start asking hard questions about what you're putting in it and on it. I saw women in my own childhood neighborhood struggle with health issues, and I couldn't help but wonder: what's in all this stuff we use every single day?
So, I decided to do something about it. I cleared out my garage, installed a commercial air purifier, and got to work. I use my science background to create products that are safe, natural, and brutally effective. No toxins. No GMOs. No crap.
I'm not a big corporation. I'm a mom, a car mechanic, a dog lover, and someone who's not afraid to be direct. I surround myself with people who tell the truth, and I run my business the same way.
